Uzabase, Inc. (hereafter “Uzabase”) has been named a winner of iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 in the Interior Architecture discipline, Office Interiors, for its Tokyo headquarters’ office design.
The iF DESIGN AWARD is an annual renowned design competition, organized by the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH. This year, Uzabase competed against almost 11,000 entries submitted from 72 countries and regions in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.

Design Statement
Uzabase believes in the power of business information, providing services such as business intelligence platform SPEEDA and social business media NewsPicks. This is why we situated our new office in the Daimaru-Yu area, a central hub of Japan’s economy just a step from the Tokyo Station. Considering the work environment post-Covid, we redefined the office as a space where “real experiences” take place rather than just work gets done, and designed it based on three core values: Collaborative, Inspiring, and Iconic. Offering a space for a variety of business people to interact, we aim to realize our Purpose: “Awaken a world of play in business, with our insights.”

With our Tokyo office design, we set on a challenging mission of rendering the brand of Uzabase into a tangible, inspiring office space in partnership with PARTY, Nikken Sekkei, SOLSO, Mitsubishi Estate, Seiwa Business, and our dedicated internal project team. Our combined passion fueled an invaluable journey of co-creation. As a result, we have successfully captured the unique essence of Uzabase’s Purpose and values, far beyond the reach of conventional brand elements like logos and corporate websites.
