Uzabase, Inc. (hereafter “Uzabase”) and PROTO Solution Co., Ltd. (hereafter “PROTO Solution”) announce the establishment of the joint venture company UB Datatech, Inc. for the purpose of acquiring and organizing various forms of business information. The joint venture will start operations on October 1, 2021.
Background
Under the mission “We guide business people to insights that change the world,” the Uzabase Group provides multiple services including the business intelligence platform SPEEDA and social business media NewsPicks. In order to meet increasingly diverse and rapidly changing user needs in a timely manner, the Group needs to acquire and organize various forms of business information, including those that are difficult to obtain from other companies.
Uzabase has maintained a positive relationship with PROTO Solution, with which it will establish the new company, since 2012 as an important partner. PROTO Solution’s excellence in building business processes has been a key factor in the Uzabase Group’s operation of its products and services.
The combination of Uzabase’s technological strength and PROTO Solution’s process-building capability will allow the Group to acquire and organize information that is difficult to obtain from other companies in a timely manner, thereby enhancing customer value, including types of data and speed of updates in each product and service.
